As Anne Bors' mother, I heard a great deal about Sean during the year. She always felt he was such a wonderful little boy, and tried so hard to understand him and have him understand.

I am so proud of Sean, though I have never really met him personally, and proud of Anne. She is the really rare teacher to whom her students are more than that. For the time she has them in class they are her little family. She cares deeply for each of them, and goes above and beyond to give them a learning experience they will remember always. Thanks for the essay, Anne, and for being such a wonderful teacher--and daughter.
